Joey’s Story

Joey began attending 1st Cerebral Palsy of New Jersey as a preschool student and we have been growing with him and his family for the past 12 years. In fact, Joey’s mother is the president of our Parent-Teacher-Therapist association, as well as our adapted health and physical education teacher! He is one of our most enthusiastic and active students. He loves to participate in his classroom in science activities, cheer on his teammates, or say hello to visitors as he practices walking through the school. Joey is one of our most decorated Boy Scout members, and he recently won a gold medal in the New Jersey Special Olympic bowling tournament.
