Clubs
Our mission at 1st Cerebral Palsy of New Jersey is to help students lead happy, productive, fulfilling lives. All students participate in recreational activities. The extracurricular clubs we offer enhance social skills while helping students develop self-knowledge, creative thinking and independence. Students can choose two clubs to participate in during each eight-week session.
Boy Scouts
Our Scout Troop 5795 helps members builds character, learn citizenship and develop personal fitness .
Cheerleading
Our cheerleading squad, The Butterflies, performs routines during our special events highlighting their mobility skills.
Student Council
Leadership activities help members develop positive attitudes, practice good citizenship and plan special events.
Performing Arts
Through dance, music
and movement, participants develop independence
and self-confidence.
Gardening
Easy activities introduce the art and science of gardening and the natural world.
Chorus
Choir members will discover that their voices can be part of something bigger and more wonderful than they imagined.
Science
Explore the fun of science with hands-on, interactive experiments and adventures.
Fitness
This club practices basic fitness moves in a fun, creative and safe environment.
Painting
Club members work from their imagination and receive ‘how to’ lessons from teachers.
Games
Participants enjoy fun activities they might not otherwise get the chance to experience, and within a safe, non-competitive environment.
